A little background first
Finally, the other half of Ryan and Kiersten speaks. I have decided to try my hand at this blogging thing as my favorite style of writing seems to be perfectly fitted for blogging. I like to write like I am a motivational speaker with a live audience in front of me. So nothing too sophisticated and nothing very fancy. Just straightforward and to the point with a lot, and I mean a lot of emotion that usually doesn’t come through with random words on a page. I need to be there in person to show the passion and use my hand movements to exaggerate the emotion just that much more.
Growing Up…

I wanted to open up a little bit and tell you a bit about me. As you already know, my name is Ryan. I grew up in a pretty awesome household as the oldest of five. (A little side note: as I am sitting here writing this, my wife is telling me all the things I need to add, and they all have to do with her. So here you go beautiful, I mentioned you in my post). I rather enjoyed the larger family because it literally never left a dull moment. Someone was always doing something or getting hurt or making fun of someone. It was a pretty great time (and still is).
All growing up, I played soccer. It was a sport that treated me so well with so many teammates that I now consider family. It also kept me in great shape (something I am struggling with at the moment. But that is for another day.). I still loved to play a pick-up game when I can. Musically I am the least talented person in the world. It is truly a sad thing that I wish were not the case. I tried playing the piano but just never had the patience, and the vocals already sound off when talking. So needless to say, musical talent does not run in the family.
The wife

I met my beautiful wife in high school, and we have been in love ever since (Well, that is true for me. I am not so sure the same can be said for her.). Truly a first love. We have been married for over a year now, and let me tell you, it has been an amazingly busy and fun year. We are pretty traditional when it comes to anything, so starting to live together was something new and quite fun actually. Last week we had a full-on Nurf war that got so intense it scared the dog off into the closet. We get along pretty well.
My Purpose
That is a little bit about myself. I am going to continue to write blog posts as often as possible to figure out what exactly I want to write about. I tend to have a slight issue of changing hobbies quite frequently and always wanting to do everything. Which everyone says is horrible for a blog, but I guess we will see how right that actually is.
I think you guys might enjoy my total randomness and just enjoy how truly entranced I can become about a particular topic. And then how quickly that fascination can just disappear. So I guess we will see where things go from here, but I am excited to get started and to figure out the logistics of blogging and taking pictures and just everything. I really do enjoy this process, but I hate the idea of people reading and seeing my work. It kind of stresses me out. But we can talk about my perfectionism some other time.
Until next time,
Ryan
